Lubna paints Arabic calligraphy on canvas — bold acrylic colour, textured grounds and gold leaf around classical letterforms — alongside abstract paintings and large murals.
Byat Al-Qalam (“House of the Pen”) is where that work is shown, collected and taught. Lubna runs regular classes, and the studio also shows the work of guest artists she admires.
